Change of management

Posted by lnichols730 on 11/4/2009

We ate at Harbor Cafe a few years ago and I vowed that we would never go back. However, a few months ago, our aunt was visiting and she asked if we could eat there since there didn't seem to be a wait. Their seafood is excellent. Oysters on the half shell, shrimp, mahi mahi, it was way better than Red Lobster and better price as well. I suppose they underwent a change in management as I dont' remember oriental food being on the menu before. However, everything was great and the food was fresh and HOT HOT HOT! We have returned several times since then, and it just keeps getting better and better. I hope they keep this up, as our aunt is looking forward to eating there again on her next visit.

Great job

my wife and i have lunch on sunday. at first appearence we thought the place was closed. (the front of the resturant is facing a brickwall). when we entered we found a very clean and updated interior. our waiter was attentive and suggested the special. the food was as good as i have every had anywhere and the price was extremely reasonable. the manager on duty was on his toes and checked on us was well as other diners. Their menu ranged from chinese, steaks, and seafood. if your in clarksville, tn this is the place to eat. Good job Cody!

Close this pitiful restaurant already!

This restaurant is horrible. Our waitstaff was it's only asset. Then again, how bad could it possibly be with eight servers wandering around aimlessly and only six tables seated in the entire restaurant. Management consisted of a young girl sitting at the bar gossiping. My husbands steak was severely overcooked, but the young manager, after we requested her to correct it, informed me that medium, in such a thin slice of meat, will not have any pink. Give me a break! He didn't eat it, yet we paid for this piece of leather full price. I will never return and am here to warn others of this pathetic excuse for a steakhouse.

happy hour!

I never tried the American foods there, so I don't know about the other reviews. My oriental food was fabulous and my alcohol was too! Service was fine, not too slow (Unlike Chili's who takes for freaking ever.)

Don't bother

Fries were previously frozen, and tasted freezer burned, and that was the best part of the meal. Service was so slow that if I wanted to eat tomorrow, I'd order today. A restaurant without a wait on Saturday night in Clarksville is a rarity.....this is a place to eat with no wait on Saturday night. The decor is decent.
